Delabole Windfarm Database

This database collected telemetry from the very first UK windfarm, in the early 1990's, in North Cornwall.

This was very early in the history Access, probably v 1.1. The Cornwall Camborne School of Mines ran a project to help monitor the Delabole wind farm, the first of its kind in the UK. Another chap far cleverer than I, wrote it all, and I took it over when he left. An enormous range of data had been collected over about 15 months, for each of the turbines. Not just the obvious such as wind speed, direction and turbine speed; also humidity, temperature and noise, with obscure derivatives of each. The database was customised so that people could take plots or spreadsheets of all sorts of data-sets, selected by date range and turbine.
