In 2011 I started a contract with the great team at Brian R Richards, a branding agency in Newmarket, Auckland. I had never used the Silverstripe PHP CMS when I started, but I was admirably and patiently assisted up the learning curve by an outstanding Silverstripe guru, Damo Mooyman.

Brian has a fantastic team of graphic designers who had built some lovely and varied designs. I helped Damo put these designs into practice, building web software combining Silverstripe, PHP and MySQL.

Ziwipeak – Premium Pet food using 100% Natural NZ ingredients. We built a shop system, a blog, testimonials pages, stockists and distributors databases with Google Maps, and a feed calculator. We also used a sprinkle of JQuery. All pages can be updated by the client.

Brian Richards Corporate site – This was a rebuild using Silverstripe to showcase the talents of the staff and projects undertaken. 

Ikana – suppliers of the best seafood in NZ. The BRR team had designed this lovely organic theme and we had a range of excellent photography to showcase these food packages.

Avaiki Pearls from the Cook Islands. This was my first Silverstripe project for BRR.

Brian Richards Blog site – a showcase for the musings of Brian Richards and his associates. We used Silverstripe as always, and added a few JQuery tricks to add spice to the site, but in essence it is minimal, in keeping with the BRR preferences, and allowing the content to speak for itself.
